Happy Republic Day

We, the youth, waste many a moment....

but, at times of duress and crises,

we do heed the clarion call of our motherland,

and join in the passionate upheaval of our nationalist faith

and sentiments.

Though I have termed my blog 'wasted_every_moment', I would like to dedicate this very post to the glory of the Indian Republic, and I appeal to all my friends that they too revive the fervor of nationhood.

I hope my fellow countrymen do not see this day as just another holiday, it isn't a day for inaction and passivity.....

let this not be a wasted opportunity.....

it's the perfect time to renew our vows for solidarity, unity and harmony.

When I am sad, I feel like crying.

(I rub my eyes......)

When I am proud, I feel like trying.

(I hold my head high.....)

When I feel curious, I want to know.

(I look up, wondering........)

When I'm impatient, I want to go.

(I cross my arms, I tap my feet........)

When I feel angry, I look this way.

(I look in anger.......)

When I feel happy, I smile all day.

(I put up a big smile on my face.......)

When I am puzzled, I make a shrug.

(I shrug my shoulders.......)

When I feel loving,

I want to hug.

(........and I hug myself!)
